It’s a story about a woman who’s in intense physical and emotional pain, so you’re carrying that throughout it, but you have to do it without tipping it. It’s a difficult proposition.

Yeah, that’s true! And probably the best idea. I always suck at coming up with prompts anyway, that’s the hardest part.

It’s too soon for me. It’s hard to write that often for other people, instead of for yourself. Do you, babe! Write what you wanna write! (Grace intones selfishly, while salivating at the thought of more Izzy zarry stories.)

:D Yeah, sometimes it’s annoying not to be able to do what I want with the fic. And also, not being able to take credit for it right away. That’s almost worse. And I feel like I haven’t done a Zarry story for myself in ages? Not since bodyguardfic, and at this point that’s...5 fics ago? 6, with my current WIP? Which is way too long ago.

same, i’m still stressing myself out trying to make up my mind

It is stressful! Especially because you have to come up with prompts. I think I’m leaning towards no, honestly. If I were to do it I would want to really write a long fic for it, a la we are spirits, rather than something short and fairly throwaway, like Episkey or 68th and Broadway, and I don’t think I have time for that and the Zouis exchange fic, which is also going to be long. Why do all the exchanges have to happen during the same time??? (But now I feel like I should encourage you to try it because I do want a lot of people to do it so I have new Zarry fic to read)

i've actually always thought this. like who else cleans himself up after a flight to look good in pap photos? that's concern for control there.

Right? Despite how much we joke about him looking flawless no matter what, I’ve always felt like he’s very aware of his appearance and who is going to see him and when. (Although he does look good everywhere). I think a fic based on looking at that would be interesting (do I have a thing about romanticizing pretty people and giving them issues about their looks? Maybe. It’s only fair, they’re pretty it should hurt them too)

Thanks! I'm a little nervous, first foray into a new pairing and all, but it's fun so far! And it's always nice to spread my wings, get more breadth as a writer. Hopefully it'll turn out.
