The parallel of "I love it" between Pete and Lucius.

Lucius in the first season smiles and kisses Pete when receiving the carved finger. It's a cute moment where we really get to see their love and deeper connection.

In the second season, Lucius grows a beard, another change — like the absence of the finger — and Pete responds in kind "I love it." They smile and kiss again.

This is one of my favorite subtle parallels. Lucius and Pete's love and respect for each other is palpable.
