I know I knowwww that the point of the super long domestic bliss scene with Aki and Denji is to make it funnier when Power brings it all crashing down but in my mind??? It's all about the silence. It's about Denji and Aki living so seamlessly with each other and around each other. Denji keeping the table clean while he makes his insane toast. Aki vacuuming around him. The obvious routine of it all. And the silence!! They don't have to speak to each other and they're not arguing. It's not uncomfortable. They're just there, having their own little routine. Denji is quiet! Denji is never quiet. But in this scene he's just allowed to... Be. And it's fine and it's comfortable and they're just living their routine. They have their own chores. They are co-living they fell into a routine they are seamlessly integrated into each other's lives!!!! There's silence!!!!!!! They're just being. Around each other. With each other. Barely saying anything. I'm going to explode

Like moths to a flame.
Boyfriend's brother-in-law just got a collegiate-level teaching gig in the next town over. I'm not sure what this means yet in terms of his sister -- she works in northeast Maryland as a social worker and it's her dream job (much too far to commute) -- but I'm excited nonetheless.
