Of course my dude!
I just read your latest fic (I'm the anon who requested it) I just want you to know that I loved it! It was extremely well written. Are you going to make a part two?
Hello there! Thank you so much, and I’m so happy that you enjoyed it!
Not only am I writing a part two (which should be posted here in the next few days), but I am outlining a good ten chapters for the prompt! I can’t promise that they’ll be uploaded consistently (say, every four days), as I am also working on a few other requests at the moment, but I’ll definitely post them!
Thanks again 🥰
Can I join your cult? I promise that I am a proud puff!
yep, any proud Puffs are welcome of course!
I need to know how intense the Lucy/Wyatt/Garcia/Jessica love square is going to get. Will Lucy feel emotionally pressured to choose Wyatt or Garcia if Jessica leaves him? Will Wyatt and Garcia fight over Lucy? Will she feel more romantic over one or the other? MUST KNOW!!!
While staying as non-spoilery as possible, we’ll just say that -- certainly for the first half of the season at least -- romance is pretty far on the back burner for everyone. There is absolutely fallout from Season 2 to deal with, and we’ll see that. But the team has so much on their plates and so many other things to worry about, both individually and collectively, that it’s taken a bit of a seat. Lucy’s relationships with both Wyatt and Flynn will be developed and challenged in different ways, and we will see her dealing with both. But at the moment, it is all a mess in a lot of ways, and nobody is going to have smooth sailing this year. Even Rufus (should he be saved, ahem) and Jiya are going to have a hard time with the aftereffects of their ordeal, and it’s a tough year for everyone.
As before, we’re committed to writing the season fairly and accessibly for all fans, and this is not the CW; there will not be tons of romantic drama and guys fighting over Lucy and whatever else, so yes. As we’ve also said, the real heart of the season is with the Time Team’s overall relationships and unity as a makeshift found family, and we’re going to see Flynn’s relationships developing with other members of the team, Lucy struggling with her impulse toward darkness and vengeance and going rogue after the events of 2x10, and Wyatt trying to pick up the pieces of his life, sort out what he wants from either Jessica or Lucy, and striving to improve as a person. We have a lot of feelings about all these characters, their connections, and where that will be going this season, as well as just the romantic part. Everyone is really just trying their best against an increasingly terrifying Rittenhouse (#MakeRittenhouseScaryAgain is real, we will have you know) and they don’t have time to distract themselves with much else. They have to stick together, or they’re toast. Rittenhouse ain’t fucking around with trying to tear them apart, either.
We are going to see, as noted, where both relationships go, and what happens in the second half of the season may be different. But yes, we have definitely put a lot of thought into this, and that’s where we’re starting off.
