This Famous Fudge recipe is a classic, rich, and decadent treat that's perfect for holidays or special occasions. It's incredibly easy to make and sure to please chocolate lovers of all ages.
Ingredients: 3 cups semisweet chocolate chips. 1 can 14 ounces sweetened condensed milk. 1/4 cup unsalted butter. 1 teaspoon vanilla extract. 1/4 teaspoon salt. 1 cup chopped nuts optional.
Instructions: Grease an 8x8-inch square baking pan and line it with parchment paper, leaving an overhang on two sides for easy removal. In a microwave-safe bowl, combine the chocolate chips, sweetened condensed milk, and butter. Microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring after each interval, until the mixture is smooth and all the chocolate chips are melted. This usually takes about 2-3 minutes. Stir in the vanilla extract and salt until well combined. If you're adding nuts, fold in the chopped nuts into the fudge mixture. Pour the fudge mixture into the prepared baking pan, spreading it out evenly. Refrigerate for at least 2 hours or until the fudge is firm and set. Once the fudge is set, use the parchment paper overhang to lift it out of the pan. Cut the fudge into small squares or rectangles. Serve and enjoy!
