I genuinely believe the combined passion and rage of UK ao3 users could stop the online safety act in its tracks. They haven't stopped with the websites they're limiting, Ao3 could very much be on the next chopping block. The petition to repeal the online safety act has already gotten over 100,000 signatures meaning it will be considered for debate in parliament. But the more votes the better. The more people they can see HATE this act the better. Even if you read the most vanilla, coffee shop au, straight romance with zero angst or smut, even if you firmly believe the a03 should have strict guidelines , please can we just see eye to eye on the fact that this act is a terrible idea.
