I don't take it the Tamagotchi Connection re-release hype would be enough to stir some former anime fan subbers who happene to be nostalgic for Tamagotchi from their slumber to actually get he ball rolling on a Tamagotchi anime fan sub... at the very least, the first movie needs a sub because I can only find the dub and it's.. not the greatest.
But it's wild to me that something as huge as Tamagotchi just has nobody subbing it, officially or otherwise. I know fan subbing has kind of started to become less of a thing since so many anime just get official subs these days, but there's still a need for fan subbers, especially since older anime doesn't seem to be profitable enough to release any subs for.
I'll say this though, I've never supported a Patreon before, but if someone was to start subbing these episodes and needed a few supporters to do it, maybe releasing early to supporters or having special thanks in the credits, I'd pitch in a few bucks a month. I don't think i'm alone there.
