I've been thinking alot since Monday...I was one of the ones who perceived Sam's recent interviews as negative. I now realize that maybe I rushed to judgement. I just saw some fans pictures of him backstage at his play, and he looks stressed and exhausted. He is carrying a lot on his shoulders and the last thing I want to do is add to his burdens. I'm sure he likes the US just fine. I know he still loves playing Lestat. I'm sure he's still passionate about acting. I know he's human who deserves compassion...and REST.

BO, please let's reset the energy on this blog and show some patience towards him. He's been working non-stop and wearing many hats since 2022. Let's all remember:

This post is my gesture to Sam. I am adopting a more positive energy to put into the universe. I'm not alone in saying Sam is appreciated. I hope someone sees it and share it to him. Please take care of yourself, Sam. When you're ready to return, fans will be here for you.

The only thing that reassures me is that Jacob is making money anyway and promoting himself, but screw those people

On twitter, some lucky person, who had the chance to be part of Lestat’s public, said that Sam is very sweet and his perfume is amazing 💕

Absolutely, we must protect him at all costs (and everyone else) because there will surely be absurd criticisms coming that could destabilize Sam, especially if he's lurking on social media in some way...

Well, I think he is much stronger/more confident than he used to be and he doesn’t lurk online the way he used to... for the same purposes he used to 👀

So my version of “protection”? Looks more like being an actual fan:: encouraging people to watch the show; when I hear ‘hot takes’ that are a ‘hot mess’ 😅 … I’ll challenge them intellectually; and above all—I’m not tying his name to anyone who HE doesn’t. 😏

Sam gets a lot of criticism because people wanted a Black and Brown vampire show. So when "the drop" episode happened, it allowed people to despise Lestat and him.

Sam not having any media presence and never speaking about himself, makes him a completely blank slate. Which allows people to project whatever they want on him. And believe he won't see it anyway.

It is very doubtful it will happen but I think Sam needs to hire someone (NOT a fan) to run an official fan page for him this season. The truth is in the US, media presence is so important. So if Sam does want to expand his opptys here than he is going to have to be a tad bit more accessible.

Because if he limited to questions just about Lestat or TVL, it will start to seem fake and evasive. That is one thing I will say the HR guys seem to have gotten right, they are showing their real personalities on their own terms. Similar to what Jacob has done in the past too. Because despite Sam being talented he isn't talented enough to not play the game on his own terms.

And the questions I am talking about aren't her HER of course. I mean simple questions, what are some of his favorite vinyl albums, favorite wine, why has he always been drawn to horror films and books, who does he want to win the World Cup, his favorite opera/ballet. The list could go on. And don't have him in some hotel room with a blurry camera answering questions either.

AMC really needs to stop being so damn cheap and lazy. Especially since there are Vloggers with 287 followers and have beautiful content using a great camera, done for free.

I’m posting this because it is a constructive way to talk about how a shift can really promote Sam. I think these are interesting ideas.
