larvitar for rinnychu’s pokemongijinkacollab , since the rules suggested posting to tumblr too not 100% happy with this, but i’m mostly satisfied i got it done at all!  i almost dropped out when i realized how late it was getting, but then i had one of those weird flukes where i tried restarting it and then somehow finished the same day.  so i guess there’s at least a sense of accomplishment in that regard  ^^;

everyone’s been unleashing some pretty sweet designs for this though, definitely check out the tag!

machop, the most naked looking pokemon went for cel-shading halfway through  *shrug* surprisingly hard to settle on colors, since machop is usually light blue/greyish, but i really like the weird washed out purple/lavender/whatever of the GBC sprite.  so it seems to have ended up at some gross spot between the two :P

omg the aliasing was so ugly that i just prtscn’d this with the checkered empty background  :c  been a while since i’ve tried thin linework and i kinda forgot how to handle aliasing problems...

anyway this week i’ve been doing a bunch of kira studies for practice and because girlcrush, but this one was more salvageable than the others.  was trying cel-shading again, but my cel-shading always turns into whatever this is?  also gonna send some kiras to my mom since she wants to see some drawings and loves DS9~

so at last, here is lazy wooblywob arms alakazam to visualize just how done i am with trying to draw alakazam and their deceptively difficult limbs (i rationalize it by claiming that they’re psychically projected arms or something, IDK )  i am so sorry about the weird happy cobra crotch that accidentally happened

finally on the last season and felt it was time for some bonus birds was gonna include more, but i realized the first ended up being a batch of 8, and i can already think of enough characters/alternates for a third batch of 8 (and probably even more)  so i guess i'll do that sometime?  although i feel like these are not turning out as cute as the first ones :c

now i am going to gaze into the middle distance and contemplate the profound untouchable mystery of weyoun's outfit

but i also can't decide if i pulled off the rough painty look, or if it's just a trainwreck.  i'm hardcore jealous of the rough painty look, so i wanted to try that out today.

ok drew more ds9 because i feel like i had to make up for my bizarre garak mistakes (way wrong eye color, and i guess i forgot what a watermelon was, wow, i was totally referring to the watermelon outfit. not the strawberry outfit, he doesn't have one of those yet.  having an off week, i guess! )

i tried to get the cute smile dax does when messing with people but mmmmm i dunno :/
