The evil within? ovo
He's just so scrungly. Silly fella.
@fanaticartisan (aka @misterartist) painted my portrait!
He gets there in the end.

Ghost couldn’t help but chuckle, when the little dragon dramatically sneezed and flopped away. Having been amused by Caraticus’ words of warning, finding them fair.
He then gave a small tilt of his head, as he thought about the sort of punishments creatures tended to have for such actions. Well, the less severe ones at least. He knew certain species were not so forgiving of thievery from other creatures.
“ When a pup from the pack I’m with, is caught stealing.. If they are of proper age, the parents give the pup a quick dunk in cold water. That punishment tends to work. ”
A shrug of thought given. As he gave a quick, and somewhat brave glance, up at the sorcerer’s face before he quickly looked back over at Nascle.

It took him a moment to remember what a village was, as well as what a school was. He had picked up things here and there, from the times he spent with humans, but his education was certainly lacking.
“ A great city.. cities are always quite loud. ”
A soft hum of thought as he watched the sorcerer’s hands mend the rest of his pants. A bit surprised that the other would do so, when only the knees had been mentioned. Not that he was complaining, he was certainly thankful.
“ You would be correct. I have never heard of those places. It’s amusing to think that.. I have traveled to many places and never saw any of it.. ”
It was an empty chuckle that escaped him, taken to many places and yet, he probably wouldn’t be able to point out where if he was shown a map. Wouldn’t even be able to recall the names, or what they looked like. Maybe, except for the inside of the zoo. He remembered that place well.
“ Yes... you can mend my shirt. ”
Nervous permission, as he leaned his face out of the way. Probably more then necessary. But he didn’t want to look. Didn’t want to see, or get touched. Having hands that close, would just be an accident waiting to happen if he focused on the visuals to much.

In an odd way, Ghost found Caraticus’ appearance more soothing. More bareable, then he might have if the other looked more human. Although, hands would always bother him the most. Regardless of form.
He felt his jaw instinctively clench, but fought to keep himself calm. Fingers didn’t touch, so there was no need to drive teeth into flesh. Even if, the feeling of the magic slightly startled him. He still didn’t bite, and inwardly considered that an accomplishment.
All that was left was to watch in fascination as the cloth repaired itself, as if it was a wound that was healing. So strange. So handy, magic seemed to be. Once the knee of his pants was repaired, Ghost let out a breath that he hadn’t realized he had been holding in. A breath that melted into a strained laugh.
“ It worked.. Good as new. ”
He was in a bit of disbelief and awe, focusing on what was done for just a moment. As he further calmed himself down. The sorcerer had kept his promise. He was not hurt. He was not touched, and in turn, that fragile, growing trust made him a bit braver.
“ Yes.. you can do that one. It’s easier now. ”

Ghost gave a slow nod as he listened to Caraticus speak, the past could indeed not be changed. But the future was easier to mold, so long as one used the wisdom gained from the past.
“ Noble words. I’m sure you will succeed. ”
Words spoken with soft sincerity, in full belief of the sorcerer, who seemed so strong already. He himself had seen first hand what those in power could do, and granted both of their experiences with powerful beings might be very different, but it was nice to know that Caraticus was one of the ones willing to fight against them. It brought him a strange sense of comfort.
Comfort, that allowed him to be at ease when the sorcerer sat across from him. Within what he considered his space. He raised his head up a bit more, letting his face be visable on a much normal level. Even if, he still didn’t have the courage to fully look at Caraticus, yet.
There was then a soft huff of a laugh as he looked down at his clothes. Tattered shirt, and the holes he had in the knees of his pants. Lightly damp and stained with mud from where he had been kneeling by the river.
“ Tired is to small of a word.. But yes, I would appreciate the mending. If it’s not to much trouble of course. ”
