Wanted to go back to my roots again and make a fancog, this time more Corporate Clash flavored!

The Friendly Reminder (they/them) is a special Manager that enters battles of toons with high enough laugh/suits and acts as an inconvenience by covering UI with sticky notes, interrupting battles with lectures/memos, and clogging up in-game chat with their reminders.

More info below:

Their name is supposed to sound vaguely like thumbtack, and are based on sticky notes!

I imagine that, for the cogs that can tolerate their constant (well intentioned but nonetheless annoying) reminders, they’re like a diligent little pocket friend that won’t hesitate to call out other cogs for not following the rules. They like being of service and getting head pats from important people.

GETS ALONG WELL WITH: Bellringer because his dinging and donging compliments their passive aggressive reminders very nicely! It’s like the -ping- sound you dread when your manager DMs you on Zoom when youve fucked up.

Move ideas:

- can cover UI with sticky notes, rendering some gags inaccessible until they fall off. can be washed off with squirt gags or will fall off if a cog uses quake. 

- can blow up the in-game chat with "Friendly Reminders!" which doesn’t sound too bad until a friendly reminder about COGS INC memos and things get in the way of trying to communicate with other toons. Most of their reminders are long winded passive aggressive emails meant for other cogs.

- can stall a battle by interrupting and giving a lecture, allowing cogs to join the battle if there are any waiting or walking into the room.

- to know if the Friendly Reminder is going to enter a battle later, there will be sticky notes littered around the first area/floor. They aren’t found on streets.

 - Defeating a friendly reminder can reward a variety of stickers, a sticky note for your toon’s forehead, or the Reminder Behinder, which is just the Friendly Reminder version of a flunk trunk/caller hauler

I also had this stupid idea that, in a very rare case where they were more than just a status effect gremlin, their big scary unique attack would be to make an post it note origami toon that joins the toon side and just picks the worst things while there, like using sound on lured cogs or picking zap with no squirt present or smth. the origami toon can be obliterated with squirt gags and has low laff so you gotta kill it asap lmao.

Spacebots: Fancog Concept

So, I was inspired by other awesome toonblrs that also had fancogs and I decided why not give it a go!

So…here’s what I have so far!

Short Info: As the name says Spacebot are Bots in Space. Their overall mission is to research of possible interstellar living capabilities. In other words, see if Cogs and Toons are able to adapt and live in space.

Creator: A group branched off of Loony Labs called Stellar Labs. They are five toons that helped pitch and put their ideas together to create the spacebots. Currently, they are disbanded and keep in touch once in awhile. The most trusted/head creator of the group is Rigel Caywood. He has passed it on to his son Splinter…who unfortunately has no idea they even exist.

Good or Bad?: These Bots are pretty much neutral since for the most part, there’s not a lot of toons nor cogs in space as of yet. Only attack if provoked their really invested in their research.

Battle: They may seem weak from first three levels (cuz their mainly still prototypes) but their actually pretty tough. They need to be anyway if their facing the unknown.
