In the name of alone time and self care during the worst life stuff ever, I went to Lush for the first time. Armed with my Intergalactic bath bomb, I laid out candles, had music going, and had a whole bottle of Moscato myself. It was seriously one of the most magical experiences. I am STILL ridiculously relaxed.
Self care for Dee Dee from Dexter’s Laboratory (anon)
Oscar the Owl: $6.48 I tell everybody this, but go ahead and change his name after adopting him if you’d prefer!
Violet Cocoa Butter Soap: $10.25 I love fancy (or somewhat fancy) soap because it lasts for a while in comparison to bubble bath or bath bombs. Also, I feel cleaner after using bar soap instead of liquid, but that could just be my perception. You know a soap is fancier when it’s wrapped in paper, not plastic.
Pink/Blue Mermaid Pillowcase: $8.99 It’s just the pillow case unfortunately, and does not have a pillow inside of it. But you can totally buy a pillow to go with it, or probably stuff it with old folded blankets you don’t use/like (if you have some).
Freesia Foam Bath: $17.00 Foam bath is just the fancy way of saying bubble bath. It’s bubble bath. ^-^
Silk Pillow Cases: $11.98 Not only is silk just a nice feeling, but it’s really good for your hair and skin, especially oily hair and skin! It also prevents hair breakage and skin damage.
Rain Scented Air Freshener: $6.95 It lasts for 60-90 days and “leaves behind a light and pleasant fragrance that is not overpowering.”
Violet Fragrance Oil: $6.25 + $2.94 You can make your own bath oil using this! Start with some unscented liquid oil (like sunflower, jojoba, almond or mild olive) and add fragrance oil until it is at the intensity you like best. Add up to tablespoon of oil to your bath for soft skin and an aromatic experience.
Bullet Journal: $5.99 These types of journals are really nice for all angles of writing!
Therapeutic Guided Journal: $10.43 It’s called “Cheaper Than Therapy,” but obviously don’t use it in place of actual therapy if you need it. But this is a journal I’ve been wanting to get for a long time and have heard wonderful reviews about, so I thought I’d pass it along!
I'm making homemade gifts for birthdays and festive season this year. I have 4 birthdays in my family this week so I've put together some bath ritual jars. It's the first time I've made them for other people, so far I'm fairly happy with them.
Fancy milk, orange, and oatmeal bath 💕💕💕
lush is trying to get me to believe that one of their bath fizzies is a potent aphrodisiac and im like, lmao ok buddy, i just want to smell nice
