Spiritual Bathing 🤍
As we prepare for the upcoming September Equinox, it’s an excellent time to explore water rituals as a way to clear stagnant energy from the body.
There are several ways to complete a water ritual - baths, showers, daily washing, or living water purification.
Across each of these practices, it’s important to remember:
〰️ The art of a spiritual bath uses symbolism to embrace the four elements that support us all and are the mainstay of any esoteric practice: Earth, Air, Fire, and Water, which is why you’ll typically include bath salts, herbs, music, and incense into the practice.
〰️ While bathing and soaking are forms of physical water therapy, these types of water rituals are for healing and cleansing the spirit.
〰️ When you engage in ritual bathing practices, you are participating in an initiation to open yourself up to Spirit. It suggests that you are willing to listen to your higher self and begin to trust something outside of your rational mind.
Swipe through to tap into the practice that best suits your needs.

Feeling a little bit 'off' today, I thought a bath ritual might help.
Spiritual Bath 🥰 @bohotribe
I made this little illustration called « Bath ritual » for our artCoven challenge on another platform.
Figured I would share it too here.
Since Beltane is coming up, many witches are asking themselves what to do to prepare 💕 In the days leading up, you can do a self-love bath ritual. Beltane is a lot to do with welcoming spring and romance. You can surround yourself with candles, crystals and spring flowers you can find. I used magnolias since I have a blooming magnolia tree at the moment! I have some more preparation for Beltane I post in the next few days, stay tuned 🌸 In this picture is a mug I made myself using a vinyl cutter machine, but I have placed the design on an enamel mug in my store. Also pictured is the Many Moons biodegradable phone case 🌙 if anyone’s wondering, I take my phone + case into the bath and shower and frequently get it wet, and it is making no difference to the case ☺️
Bath Ritual
Pink Himalayan Salt (1-2 Tbs depending on bath size)
Bath bomb (with natural oils)
Favorite crystals (make sure they aren’t water soluble)
Dried flowers
Candle(s)
Sprinkle in salt, put the bath bomb in the water along with the crystals and flowers. Dim the lights, light your candle. Relax.
