i like to think that when elves gain a warrior status , there’s no division between sexes.
like ’ oh damn we all reek ! let’s go wash in the river ’ but none bat an eye over elleths & ellons undressing in front of each other then washing in each other’s presence.
like female commanders / soldiers being as respected & harolded as males , & vice versa , based on their deeds & courage , not sex.
like an elleth is wounded in the chest , no trouble is thought of taking off her tunic to tend her. & same to a ellon wounded to his upper legs , nothing is thought of taking off his pants to render aid to him.
like making camp friends sleeping beside friends , standing watch in pairs , sharing food & drink with friends no matter to sex.
if two ellons end up sleeping next to or on each other , or two elleths or an ellon & elleth , then nothing is thought of it but friends taking comfort in each others’ presence.
there being no oddities or awkwardness when talking or being around one another. it’s about survival & their bonds transcend any boundaries that our society places with sex / gender divisions.
until it is a mutual feeling between two elves that they are liking each other , then everything is platonic between each & every party.
