Do you know with whom did Ye Xiu make the thousand chance umbrella? Is it ever revealed in the novel?

Spoiler alert (again, this is mostly for anime/donghua ppl. The light novel translation’s already past this.)

Yeah! We know who made it and their relationship to Ye Xiu in ch 616. If that’s all you wanted, don’t read beyond this.

The Thousand Chance Umbrella was made by Su Muqiu, Su Mucheng’s older brother who died in a car accident before they could finalize his contract to play in the Pro League, way back when it was still an option (before the 3rd server). Su Muqiu also made Evil Annihilation, the weapon One Autumn Leaf uses, and Su Mucheng’s character Dancing Rain was initially Su Muqiu’s. Su Muqiu’s (and some of Ye Xiu’s) backstory is elaborated on in ch 616. I don’t know if they talk more about him later in the novel (beyond the translations).
