Hi. I just got news that a friend of mine (who is also pregnant) had a heart attack and passed away for a little bit and it took two CPR tries to bring her back and then she was life-flighted to the hospital and she doesn't recognize anyone. She is breathing on her own now and her baby does have a heartbeat but she is not doing well. Do you know a spell I could do to help her out in any way?

oh anon, i’m so sorry. this must be incredibly stressful and upsetting a time for you. please be sure to care for yourself as well.

of course, any advice i give you cannot take the place of a medical professional. it sounds like they’re doing all they can on their end, and that’s good. i do understand the desire to do something to help, however, so i would recommend dressing a big candle for her and a little one for the baby.

normally i would suggest agrimony as an herb you can use in a candle dressing, however it’s dicey for pregnant women to ingest so i’m not a fan of it in this situation, even though she obviously won’t be ingesting it.

i’m going to suggest a combo of blackberries and eucalyptus essential oil. both are fantastic for healing, eucalyptus especially. mash these together with an oil of your choosing and use that to dress the candles. you can even write her name on the candle, if you’d like.

additionally, maybe put a little vase of daisies in the window, or near the candles. daisies are good for protecting babies and children.

For the one thing to know about you thing: what’s a book you recommend to people!! :)!

Now the obvious answer is the six of crows duology because I'm insane. SoC and Crooked Kingdom <3

(I love the books so much my god)

But also for a less popular rec: criers war. It's gonna be a trilogy as well I think and it's not finished but I really liked the setting and where it was going story wise :>
