Fandom Problem #5044:
Now, I’m not saying you can’t hate someone, but… if you just make up rumors about someone to make them look bad, just because you don’t like them and insult them in the process, then you’ve crossed the line.
I’m referring to people in fandoms who hate specific celebs that I won’t name, artists, writers, etc.
And that’s especially when the rumors are about serious accusations, which does a lot more damage to the people who have actually experienced racist/homophobic/sexist/traumatic encounters in their lives. It infuriates me even further when they also have zero proof whatsoever about the person they hate. But hey, there’s no such thing as “innocent until proven guilty” right?
