Triangle (Part 1)
Krystal/Jongin/Taemin
R
Things keep happening to Jongin in threes.
The first time she came onto him, Jongin had laughed it off and excused it as Krystal being playful.
The second time it happened, he went along with it.
The third time, Jongin noticed that Taemin watched them out the corner of his eye. The expression on his face was unreadable, not that Jongin put too much thought into it since Krystal had her hands down his pants.
By the time she’d gotten a good grip and had him at her command, Jongin turned his head to see Taemin watching them, his phone turned downwards in his lap and his full attention on them. Before Krystal built up a tight and quick stroke, she made eye contact with Taemin.
Something was going on. Something weird.
Even through the pre-orgasmic haze he was seeing everything in, Jongin still had the mind to question why this was just happening casually.
It’d all started with them sitting on the couch in the practice room after dance practice, sharing drinks and snacks like they’d always done.
Jongin had thought nothing of it when Krystal started touching and scooted closer to him, making her thigh touch his.
At first it’d seemed like Taemin was just dazed out, mindlessly scrolling through his phone, but when Krystal’s hand started grazing his crotch, Taemin didn’t even blink. Instead he continued toying with his phone.
Something was definitely going and it was most definitely weird.
Despite the thought, Jongin couldn’t help as he neared closer and closer to coming, Krystal never faltering in her rhythm. His breathing picked up and he felt his face redden under Taemin’s now unrelenting gaze.
When Jongin finally came, Taemin licked his lips and smiled, Krystal returning the smile once she’d wiped her hand on Jongin’s sweatpants. She kissed him on the cheek and got up, walking out the room.
Exactly what in the hell had just happened?
Why had he let it happen? Why had Taemin let it happen?
“I have a schedule, see you guys tomorrow.”
Jongin just stared at her, baffled that neither person acknowledged what’d just happened.
Shortly after Krystal had gone, Jongin got up and excused himself from the room, leaving Taemin alone. Even though he had just waved at him like nothing had happened, Jongin could still feel Taemin’s stare boring into his back.
For a while nothing happened. Taemin’s hands might graze a random part of his body during their practice or Krystal’s gaze would settle on Jongin longer than he knew was necessary, but it was bearable.
Nothing like what’d happened three weeks ago.
Jongin might’ve spoken too soon because the same day the previous thought had crossed his mind, Taemin invited him out drinking.
He showed up thinking it was going to be the two of them, but he was surprising (but not really) to find Krystal there, a pink dust already settled on her cheeks.
“You came?” she slurred, Taemin grinning when Jongin chose to sit next to him rather than Krystal.
Shot after shot made his head feel fuzzy. So much so that he didn’t mind when Taemin’s hand landed on his knee then slid up his thigh, squeezing the flesh there. In fact Jongin found himself laughing and shoving at Taemin’s shoulder. Faint pangs of arousal burned low in his stomach from the gestures anyway.
Krystal had moved from her seat across from Jongin and was now right next to him, sandwiching him between Taemin and herself. Her head was buried in his neck and he found that he didn’t dislike the sensation.
Maybe it was because he was drunk?
Alcohol tended to have that effect on people.
Suddenly Taemin’s face was by his head and there was whispering in his ear, asking him three questions. Those of which he could barely process.
“Jongin do you find me attractive?” Jongin nodded at the first question. Taemin smirked and jolted his head towards Krystal. The inebriated man nodded again and smiled, Krystal letting out a drunken giggle from her place.
“What about both us Jongin, ike together? We’ve been thinking about it for a while,” by this point Jongin felt himself sober up a little bit. The question had sounded serious, so his body reacted accordingly and he sat back with his mouth quirked in a weird position. “Yes, that’s fine. I mean I wouldn’t mind it. It’d probably be hot,” Jongin slurred, finally answering one of Taemin’s questions verbally.
He’d barely gotten his words out when Taemin slid out the booth seat and pulled Jongin with him while Krystal stumbled behind them.
To any onlooker, they just looked like tipsy twenty-somethings heading somewhere to cause trouble.
Their hats were pulled down over their faces and Taemin had a sick mask. For once in their brief lives, they looked utterly and completely normal.
Stumbling into the empty apartment was nothing short of a task. Jongin held the wall for stability as he took off his converse and Krystal held onto him to ensure she wouldn’t fall while she unbuckled her heels. It was a miracle they’d managed to not fall into a heap on the floor.
They shucked off their jackets and draped them over the nearby couch, Krystal and Jongin both familiar with the layout.
They were at Taemin’s apartment and he was leading them to the bedroom. Krystal held onto Jongin as they both stumbled down the pitch black hallway, eventually getting into the equally dark room.
The light was clicked on and Jongin squinted, letting himself and Krystal be guided in the large bed. A bed that was much larger than Taemin needed in Jongin’s opinion.
Extra clothes like sweaters and socks were taken off then they were settled and comfortable, the two younger people grinning. Now they were sitting in a weird triangle formation, looking at each other in curiosity. Krystal hiccuped and burped, making everyone laugh and Jongin nearly fall off the bed. HIs quick reflexes saved him, but it sent them into another fit of laughter.
When they calmed down, Krystal sat up straight and brushed her hair out her face. “Back to business!” Jongin and Taemin realized she’d said it in English and fought to suppress more laughter.
Taemin hadn’t even had time to close his mouth when Krystal went in for the kill, kissing him in a weird opened mouth kiss. Their teeth clashed and Taemin could feel some of her lipstick smearing on his chin, but he didn’t pull away. It only took a second before the kiss got better, less teeth and more tongue.
Jongin watched them through bleary eyes, barely reacting when the two broke apart then looked at him. Before he could blink, two pairs of lips were on him. The contrast between the two was minimum, but he could tell which ones belong to whom. Krystal’s lips were a bit sticky from whatever remained of her lipstick and Taemin’s were damp and soft.
His lips didn’t work like he wanted them to, so Jongin just allowed himself to be kissed and he relaxed in it.
Maybe he relaxed too much because sleep drifted over him soon after, his last memory Krystal and Taemin nibbling hickies on his chest.
When they woke up in the morning, it was in a weird tangle of limbs, softness and warmth.
Typically an early riser, Jongin was the first to wake up. The mess of light brown hair in front of him told him that it was Krystal who was clutching onto him like a body pillow. The arms that rested around both him and Krystal, belonged to Taemin, he could tell from the ring Taemin always wore.
Exactly what’d happened last night?
Everything was a blur, the only things Jongin remembering for sure, the drinks and kisses. He didn’t remember how they’d gotten to Taemin’s apartment or how they’d gotten undressed in the position they were now.
All in their underwear and cuddled into each other underneath a large blanket, it was definitely an unfamiliar experience.
He would’ve stayed amongst the comfortable warmth if the urge to go pee hadn’t been so strong. Getting out of the tangle proved to be difficult because every time he would managed to detach from Krystal, Taemin would tighten his grip and pull them back together. After a certain point, he gave up being considerate and just got up, not caring if he woke the other two up.
Which he did.
After using the restroom, Jongin stared at himself in the large mirror, tracing each of the bright red marks on his chest. Krystal and Taemin had really gone all out last night. He wouldn’t be able to get undressed in front of anyone for quite a bit.
Krystal and Taemin were sitting up and having a quiet conversation, which paused when he walked back into the room. Instead of feeling awkward like he’d expected, they both gave him sleepy smiles and Krystal patted the spot next to her.
Were they going to talk about what happened last night or were they going to just going to move on? Knowing the two of them perhaps more intimately than he had before, knew they were probably going to talk about it.
“So last night,” Taemin started, glancing from Krystal to Jongin. “It was great, too bad we were too drunk to do anything else,” Krystal finished, a light blush coloring her face.
So the whole thing had been a little bit embarrassing, at least for Krystal anyway. She’d probably remembered that she’d initiated it. The kisses anyway. Jongin still wasn’t how he’d ended up roped into this strange relationship with two of his closest friends.
“Just to put this out there, but was anyone uncomfortable with anything that happened last night? I mean from what they can remember?” Taemin asked, his and Krystal’s gaze immediately turning towards him.
With both pair of eyes on him, Jongin suddenly felt naked and exposed, especially considering he was only in his boxers. He looked from Taemin to Krystal, the from Krystal to Taemin before he shrugged. “I, um, it was fine. Really. I’m just going to have trouble hiding these,” Jongin sighed, gesturing towards the hickies. Both Taemin and Krystal took on guilty expressions, muttering a quiet apology.
“Well at least they weren’t on your neck?” Jongin glared at Taemin and threw a pillow at his head.
All three of them parted ways after a late brunch and Jongin caught a taxi back to the dorm with Krystal. For a precaution, she got out first and walked in, then the driver drove to the back and dropped Jongin off.
“Where were you last night?” Just like that, concerned mother Joonmyun was on him. “I was at Taemin’s apartment, sorry I forgot to text. His place was closer to the restaraunt and we were drunk. I didn’t want to get in trouble,” just like he’d practiced in the taxi.
Joonmyun gave his explanation some thought then nodded before he wandered back into the kitchen. “Go take a shower, you reek of booze,” Kyungsoo muttered as he walked passed him to help Joonmyun make breakfast.
