*mumbling in my sleep* what if Meryl was part of a Fate Ensurance Company (play on words!!) assigned to Vash The Stampede to keep his fate on track but when she witnesses his love for Wolfwood and vice versa she finds herself being a little weak and starts to fudge it.
She knows how this ends and that he’ll die so she keeps setting it up so Vash has early chances, better odds - although that’s tricky bc fate always adapts and death, being involved, runs a tight schedule and will not accept delays or changes.
Eventually she starts to fall in love with these two idiots and what Im saying is that after wolfs rain and hdm I might write it
One small detail I haven’t seen anyone talk about but that I appreciate is that everyone who knows how to ride a thomas is holding the reins properly!
@geraniumplant liked for a starter ((WW for Vash)
The fresh cold air of the night filled Nicholas’ lungs, as he took a deep drag of his cigaret. His head was in the clouds, as he looked up at the night sky that was sprinkled with a trillion stars. Whole universes became visible at the darkest of times, making one’s own problems look small and insignificant in comparison to it all.
He looked back to one of said personal problems of his. Vash sure had grown on him, but his popularity was getting annoying. No matter what place they were settling down at for the night, or just a drink, everyone wanted a piece of him - mostly for the bounty on his head.
“Hey, spikey, don’t fall asleep just yet. Next town is still a few miles ahead of us and we don’t want to end up inside of a gigantic worm again, do we?”, he ‘gently’ nudged Vash on to follow him and keep going, even though he felt a certain fatigue running through his body as well.

Milly and Meryl finally return from a weeks long work trip, and do it a day early to surprise their boys. Inspired by the 'cuteness overload' prompt for day one, but it also fits for the bedsharing and modern AU prompts!
Folks were wondering what kind of color scheme Wolfwood and Meryl had going on in Wolfs Rain au so I’m ready to get into it!!
Wolfwood has a seal coat. It’s usually a rare “black” coat and I wanted some more dynamics to him than one simple tone. Unlike the exampled photo, he doesn’t have any white to him.
Meryl is incredibly soft, all she’d all the time, that dusty midnight type of color. She has a little white tipped tail!
Thinking about if Alchemy existed in Trigun Universe and how Vash would be an abomination because he can transmutate plants and no one’s ever seen that before. I just think that would be So NeatTM.
