"Shut up, Jaskier," Geralt ordered, while Yennefer sniffed and turned her head away, as though she'd caught a whiff of something foul.
"He was about two words from either being skewered or hanged," Yennefer continued while Geralt tugged Jaskier's arm out of the way to get a better look at the cut he could smell. Deeper than Geralt was comfortable with on the unaltered human, but he'd seen worse on him. "I decided he would be better served lying low for the rest of the winter."
