Tony chuckled behind his mask.  He finished with the lights.  They were tech, he was a tech genius.  This was his domain.  The various bobbles on the other hand…

Tony slipped out of his armor, and gestured to a circle on the floor.

“This is a floating platform.  You’ll be able to put ornaments all over the tree.  And the most important part, you’ll be able to put the star on the top at the end.  It’s actually an honor to put the star on top.  Normally I would do it, but…this is our way to welcome you.”

He kissed Loki’s lips softly.

“I got this one for you.”

He held up a snake that would curl around a branch.  It had little horns on his head.

“Loki snake.”

The baubles vanished as Loki’s attention was caught by the snake. He gave a delighted laugh and took the ornament, examining it carefully. “I would be honoured to put it atop the tree. The final piece, I presume?”

He stepped onto the circle Tony had indicated. It flashed, scanning him briefly, linking in to his wishes. Loki grinned as the platform began to ascend under his direction.

Sam had grown so used to ignoring his numbers. He didn’t even look at them anymore. No one would want a man who was so used to being objectified... used to being a piece of entertainment. A toy. He was temporary. That’s what he’d convinced himself of so long ago. And that was all he thought of as he was walking to his SUV after work, walking down the dark street just before yelping as he almost got hit by a car and ducked away as he was struck in the hip. 

It wouldn’t cause too much damage but it was going to leave a bruise. That much was clear. When the driver got out, trying to explain they’d been watching their numbers go down Sam shook his head. “I-Its fine. You should probably hurry and catch whoever your soulmate is.” he urged the man sighing softly.

Hope couldn’t help but chuckle at her brother, shaking her head at him. “Look, big dumb werewolves are probably the best kind. Because otherwise, you get alpha male types you have to knock down a peg, and not in a good way.”

At the same time, they both knew that Hope was the bossy sort, and if anyone was going to be the alpha type in the relationship? Oh, it was going to be her.

“So...which big dumb werewolf?”

jace and simon were watching a movie, the slowness of events had jace connected but simon hadclearly drifted off as he felt the drool of his sleep falling on his thight. fingertips brushed overh is head as he lifted up a leg and spreadig open to not wake him up while still focusing on the movie.

Scott had a weird day of work, having a woman bringing their dog for stress. He couldn’ deny the dog attention ─ he knew it wasn’t stressed ─, so he put the dog over the platform, face up and was doing a little massage behind the curly ears as he smiled at the dog, easing her down. “Any other client up front?” He asked, knowing the owner of the dog was outside waiting for him to be over.

Dreams | The Child & Remington

Remington had found The Child while in his travels with The Doctor.  His father had once traveled with The Doctor so it seemed it was only a matter of time before the honor fell to him as well.

Seeing that The Child was in danger, Remi had quickly snatched him up and run with him.  They had found no family.  Which was why The Child was now on Earth, a ward of Torchwood.

Remi looked up from where he was working on a fire.  He had gone camping with The Child.

“Hey, kid.  What’s up?  You hungry?  Breakfast is almost ready.  Come sit by the fire and get warm.”

The Child toddled over to the fire. It was pretty and very, very warm. He moved back a little, picking up a stick and sat down against the log, leaning his little back against it. He held it out, trying to get it in his mouth, but couldn’t find the tip of it as he wasn’t moving it down his grip. He held it in the other hand, holding the longer side and succeeded.

He made a happy little noise, closing his eyes and gnawing on the stick.

Tony sent in a Christmas meme & I rolled 2: our muses decorating the christmas tree 

It was impossible not to smile at the sight of Tony flying around the heights of the huge tree he had insisted on placing on the tower’s balcony, a long string of lights following him as he wound it around the branches.

“That’s cheating,” Loki teased, toying with a few baubles in hand. “If you have a spare pair of those boots I’d be able to reach.”
