all these "fandoms were fun before covid" people are sooo funny to me fandoms have always sucked and have been spaces for racism and misogyny, you just ignored it because it doesn't affect you. fandoms were NOT better pre 2020 anyone who says this is probably yt. fandom spaces were not fun nor safe if you were a poc and especially if you're black. AND fandoms are majority yt which is how this behavior keeps going on without being called out

Sometimes I just genuinely forget that cis men exist in fandom/internet spaces. Whenever I see/read fanart, a fanfiction, a commentary/analysis on a media...my brain always factually thinks that it was created by a woman if not directly specified otherwise

An announcement for all HuniePop fans who still care and want a space that cares back.

After some time away, Huniecord, the first unofficial HuniePop community made originally in 2018 is officially revived and refreshed in 2025.

Why? Because let’s be honest, recently, the atmosphere of the fandom in certain spaces hasn’t felt safe or welcoming for a lot of people. There's been too much chaos, too little community, and not enough accountability and that’s not the HuniePop spirit we grew to know and love. 💔

So we’re starting over... 🌱

Huniecord is a strictly 18+ fan space focused on:

💬 Gaming discussions 🎨 Sharing fanart, headcanons, and redesigns etc. 🧠 Theories & thoughts on Codename: HS 🌐 Community and connection

We also launched a brand new DeviantArt group for all fanworks made in 2025 and beyond! (Art, OCs, theories, it's all welcome!)

📢 We're actively looking for more artists, fans, and kind people to help shape this new era of the fandom.

Let’s rebuild a space where HuniePop fans can actually feel good about being fans again.
