I mean we don't really know why they switch Quicksilvers with the MCU and Xmen actors but the personality of the one in WandaVision matches that of Xmen. My theory is that he's not even really Pietro but the main villain of the story that is also the main villain in House of M comics that this heavily pulls from. Or it's Marvels way of pulling in mutants now that they can say mutants and not just give powers by infinity stones/experiments.

That’s a good theory; I like it. That he is the villain and not the brother... I just want Aaron back as Quicksilver!

So I hate the move Moulin Ruge, do you think I'll enjoy the musical? I love Aaron and I've always wanted to see him in something besides ham4ham but not sure if I should pass on this one.

YES. I hated the movie too and I lost my shit when I saw the stage show. Honestly so much from the movie has been re-worked and a lot of the music has changed so it’s not even close to a mimic of the movie on stage. Also when you have people that can actually sing those songs (no offense to Nicole and Ewan) it makes it SO much better. They’ve also added more depth to the characters which the movie didn’t do and it makes it much more interesting.

I mean, that would have been fantastic, but then thinking about where Quentin was, mentally, I know thatwasn’t exactly what was on his mind. I mean, yes, it would have been anincredible gesture and absolutely amazing, but Quentin had been through a lot.He’d lost Alice (and then he got high in the Flying Forest, causing him toforget Alice’s death and then devastatingly remember it once her got out.)and everything was nine kinds of fucked up for him right then. I can understandhis desire to go home, to try and ignore everything. The way I see it (and this is just my personal opinion here), Quentinwas shut down. He was overcome with grief and finding that everything he wantedwas actually terrible. So, he just wanted to escape. He didn’t have time to sitdown and think about the wishes or process everything that had happened. It wasan immediate decision. His mind was on Alice, he had just gone on a quest to try and bring her back, his quest proved to be pointless, so he was probably feeling lost, tired, and just wanted...to go home. Penny had to stop him from running back into the forest to live in blissful ignorance. When you lose someone you care about...it can fuck with you, a lot. However, it would have been incredible if he had been able to nullify thecontract, I’m sure Eliot would have been grateful for it. Provided that wish could be granted. I’m not 100% on the legality ofwishes and the Fillorian legal system.

I’m sorry if this wasn’t terribly articulate. I actually hadn’t really sat down and thoughtabout this too much. I might be able to provide a less messy answer whenI’m not quite so tired (and therefore probably forgetting a lot of things) andonce my brain has thought this out. But I really like this question, I’lldefinitely think about it a lot more.

saw your tags on the ao3 experience post, what pairing was the harry potter fic for and what do you remember about it?

Okay, so the first fic I ever read was mainly gen, for like 100k and then Draco came out of the Forbidden Forest and kissed Harry and I was like “Huh? I guess that works? Let’s go out and find a million more fics like that!”

I think I came across it in ... approximately 2005? Definitely before 2007, by that time I was writing my own fic (never published, no need to go looking for it^^°). I think I was trying to find some theories or something for the next book and clicked on something that sounded interesting and that turned out to be a fic!

I’m pretty sure it was posted on fanfiction.net and for some reason I believe the author was male, or at least the pen name made me think of a male author? But that might be completely wrong^^° The title was either Latin, or something that sounded like it should have been Latin - something like House of the Badger or something like that? Definitely something like “Something of something” (and that’s a lot of somethings, sorry^^°) It was definitely an epic, possibly a continuation post Order of the Phoenix, though I’m not entirely sure about that? I don’t remember any details unfortunately but for that scene of Draco coming out of the Forbidden Forest and him and Harry embracing and I think kissing, and that that happened near the end of the fic as it existed? The Drarry part of it all didn’t get much more than that I think, even though I was so intrigued!!

It was a longer fic I believe, at least in memory I want to say it was in the 100k range, though I can’t say for sure any more! It was either already a series or otherwise definitely planned as a series, I think there were four books planned? They definitely didn’t get finished while I still had a functioning link, I think they might have even been abandoned before I started reading (guess why I stick to completed fics 99,9% of the time now?^^° Burnt by my very first fic!)

If I’m already talking about old Harry Potter fic(s), I’ve also been looking for some fics that I think were all by the same author - all Harry/various male characters fics. I think they were almost single handedly responsible for me having read a fic for Harry/just about every single named male character of the series^^° I definitely remember a Harry/Cormac McLaggen fic and a Harry/Marcus Flint fic. I think the author might have been doing some sort of challenge to write many ships? I thought it might have been shocolate (the spelling doesn’t seem quite right) at some point but I think I didn’t find them amongst their fics when I looked.

And finally, there was a Harry/Romilda Vane fic that was really different from what I usually read, but really fun!

If any of that rings any bells for anyone, I’d love to know but really, give me any of your fic recs; I’ve not read HP fic in too long!

OMG I'm so glad you somehow found Six, the show is amazing and if you'll be near one of the places it goes to before NYC (or NYC) I highly recommend it. I was able to go see it in Chicago and it was so fun.

Hi! I love your blog, you wrote one of my favorite sterek au fics - The Guard and Red. I also really love and go back to The Northern Way a lot. Anyway I was wondering if you could help me find a Sterek fic. The team fought the Alpha pack and let one of them live, it ends with Stiles going to college and making a deal with the local pack to be there with him and a few other pack members and Stiles/Derek pack have pizza with the local pack.

I am caught up and I am very not pleased and will probably not watch next season because of it :/I think I laid in the floor for like 20 minutes after the season finale and just kind of cried if I’m remembering correctly.
