RAMBLING ABOUT MY LAB OCs !!!!
thinking abt levitsky so hard that i cant focus my thoughts like i opened up my document to keep working on a scene with him in it and i cant even write it because my brain is full of bees......... drawing him was such a good idea because its like it unlocked something in my brain and all the things i was stuck on about him i am no longer stuck on and him as a person is making more sense..... so instead of writing i will ramble here.
Essentially..... his rich dad owns the lab.... levitsky takes over in his late 20s... boy king energies with how he runs the shit. the lab is like. imagine if something was extremely modern in technology while simultaneously looking like it was built 100 years ago. fancy technology but it looks dilapidated ! fun vibe !!! levitsky is in charge and then the other head-ish scientist is robinson who's a lady in her late 50s who should be like... making baking recipes on youtube but is for some reason an evil scientist. then there are count em 8 (eight) other employees and thats it.
levitsky's dad funds his dumb research. levitsky lives on premises in this weird little apartment inside the lab he built for himself. the other 8 employees are 3 people who do food and cleaning and logistics stuff and then 5 assorted scientists. this means the unused parts of the lab are Dusty and Scary.
ALSO I ADDED MORE SUBJECTS. theres one subject who died (haven't named him) and then the other two are named Wade and Gayle and they r buddies with Five and Two ( technically their names are Three (Wade) and One (Gayle) ) but the number shit feels so messy so idk i dont think i can justify having four characters named numbers idk im figuring it out. i might switch five to having a normal name too but two being named two feels very important to ME.
anyways im having sooooo much fun choosing the technology and layout of the lab and the protocols and how everything runs day to day. getting to make up schedules for the lights and food and security cameras and how these security cuff things they wear work ... i love making logistics.....
essentially the plot is that a couple years prior to the start of the story the unnamed subject dies which reflects really poorly on levitsky and his whole operation which is already sort of run into the ground but ... as aforementioned... boy king is his vibe. levitsky works out a big deal w a bunch of science knowledge and money being traded and Two and Gayle get transferred there from a different lab to like fill the gap so to speak in the amount of subjects/patients. Five & Wade are like GREAT if this place didn't suck enough our friend died and now there's two randos here. but then Five is like 😳haha wait one of them is so butch haha lol 😳.
the plot starts after two has been at the new lab for 4 ish years, five and her are already best friends. Five & Wade & Two & Gayle have this whole found family thing going on and all their dynamics are pretty fun hehe.... ESP wade and five.
gayle starts getting sick/showing mutations that are reminiscent of the subject who died and five is like "we need to get Out Of Here." and two is like (autistically assesses) "Ok." and starts plotting to murder levitsky and robinson LSDKFHLSDFHLKSDHFLKSDHFKh
killing those two would help them escape but this is made Very Complicated by all of the logistics of the lab that i have created, two is very smart, tho! will she succeed? WHO KNOWS!!!!!
