   One thing Abel hated was having awkward conversations with Violet. The conversation that he was about to have was probably going to be the strangest. In fact he knew but he knew that it had to be talked about. A sigh came from him but he didn't bother knocking on the front door. Instead he just tried the knob and the door was unlocked. A look of relief appeared on his face but he knew that he shouldn't be feeling thrilled. He forced himself to inhale sharply before walking inside to hear the sound of movement in the kitchen. His stomach was in knots but he forced himself to keep moving. “I’m telling you, D... something sounds funny.  There is something wrong and we should have asked someone to look under the hood at the last station we passed like two hours ago.  When there was still daylight,” Isabella complained as the car continued to make less than favorable noises. They’d rented a car to take them on their roadtrip to avoid putting miles on their respective vehicles, but now she was starting to regret it.  “I don’t know how long we have until the next exit, this is a pretty damn deserted road, and -- “ she stopped speaking when the car completely stalled out.  With a sigh, she leaned her head back and closed her eyes.  “Great.”
