They’d come back  not that long ago. She had been in the other room. There was supposedly nothing that could kill an Original aside from the White Oat Stake. But, here they were again after Finn had already died from a bite from Lucien. Now Marcel had made himself as Lucien had been and Kol was apparently bitten. She had watched as they had set him down and Elijah and Klaus had left the room. She’d offered to stay behind with him. It pained her to see him suffering so much with no way for her to help it. All she could do was stroke his hair and pray that the others found a way to save him from suffering a fate such as Finn’s.

He’d been watching her all night. She hadn’t been pacing herself at all. She had wanted to drive herself home and he had stolen her keys before she could. He’d put her in the passenger seat of his SUV with the window rolled down for some fresh air as they headed through the small town streets. He’d driven this way so many times in the past. He pulled up outside her house.

She had just helped Ezra surprise Freya with his appearance. She had been planning it for a few weeks with her twin brother. Now, she had the day to herself and she could think of no better way to spend it than with her snarky boyfriend. He could be moodier than she was at times.

She had moved there months ago and Ezra had finally followed her. She let herself into the bedroom and heard the shower running from the bathroom. She slipped her clothing off and went into the bathroom and slipped inside said shower.

“Rude of you to get clean without me.” the brunette commented as the water wet her hair and her naked form down. “Ezra’s here. He’s surprising Freya.” She smirked. “I thought I’d try to surprise you here.”
