Your fingers moved furiously over the keys of your laptop in an attempt to finish what you were working on before your boyfriend made it home. Jared wouldn’t mind that you were still on your laptop for a bit before bed, but if he ever found out what you were working on, you’d be just plain mortified.
The final sentence was completed just as Jared walked in the door. You shut your laptop and skipped over to kiss him.
“How was your day?” you asked.
Jared pushed the hair from his face before cupping your chin and kissing you again. “It wasn’t bad. A little hectic with filming. Did you enjoy your day off?”
You nodded. “I sure did. Do you feel like eating? I know it’s a little late, but you should eat before you go to bed.”
“They fed us on set, babe,” Jared chuckled. “You worry too much over me.”
“Sorry,” you winced, biting your lower lip.
Jared pulled you to him once more, nuzzling into your neck. “It’s okay. I like it.”
You giggled as his whiskers tickled your skin. Laying sweet kisses along his neck, you let it be known exactly what you were worried about just then. Jared growled into your neck picking you up so that your body wrapped around his.
“I need to take a shower,” he muttered out between passionate kisses.
“Perfect,” you said. “You’ll be naked.”
Jared laughed as you threw your shirt off and pushed your fingers through his hair. It was slightly curled at the ends, no doubt from the heat of the lights on set, but that was what had you wanting to get your hands into his hair in the first place. His “flips” made you crazy.
The passion paused for Jared to start the shower and get the water to an appropriate temperature, and for the both of you to strip down to nothing. When the water was warm and the both of you were nude, Jared took your hand and carefully helped you into the shower with him.
The water had gone cold by the time the two of you were done. Jared helped you out of the tub just as carefully as he had helped you into it, and handed you your favorite fluffy towel.
“I need to check something for tomorrow’s script,” he said, kissing your cheek as he wrapped a towel around his waist. “You finish up in here and I’ll meet you in the bed.”
You pulled him back for a real kiss, smiling as he walked back out to the living room. A few moments later, he asked for your laptop password, and you gave it to him, not thinking much of it.
Until you remembered what was still up on your desktop. What in the world had possessed you not to save the document and exit out of it? You rushed to the living room, wet hair leaving water spots on the back of your nightgown.
“Hey,” you said, nonchalantly. “Uh, just minimize whatever I have there on the …”
You trailed off as you processed the amused, wide-eyed expression on Jared’s face. Too late. He had found the document and read it. You were busted.
“Were you ever going to tell me?” Jared asked, setting the laptop to the side.
You shrugged. “Probably not. I didn’t want you to think I was, you know …”
“A fangirl?” Jared finished. He pulled you into his lap. “I mean, as long as it’s Sam fanfiction, I don’t think it should be a problem – and as long as no one knows it’s you.”
You smiled with relief. “No, I stay completely anonymous. Although, let me tell you, when people start talking shit about you or anyone else, it’s really hard to keep my mouth shut.”
You stood from the couch, and Jared wasn’t far behind you. “Let ‘em talk shit, babe. We know the truth.”
He was right and you knew it. The two of you got settled for bed, and Jared pulled you close. Although you were relieved, you couldn’t quite get his latest discovery about you off your mind. Turning to face him, you tucked your hands up under your cheek and whispered in the dark.
“You really don’t mind?”
Jared kissed the tip of your nose. “It’s not my cup of tea, but I knew you were a fan before we started dating. I had no idea you were obsessed, but if I love you, I have to love all of you, right?”
The remaining worry was gone with that; for Jared’s love, you’d give up the whole fandom. The fact that he wasn’t asking you to do that, and was willing to live with your fangirl side, well, that was all you needed to be happy.
