1. What is one talent you wish you had? I wish I was better at making small talk with people without feeling really awkward.
2. If you were to get a tattoo what would it be of? Probably an inspirational quote (most likely from a book). I don't see myself getting a tattoo though, so I've never really thought about what quote I would choose.
3. If you could miraculously wake up famous, what would it be for? I would want to be famous for humanitarian work or at least for doing something good that helped someone. Or for writing a great book. :)
4. Is there a part of your life you would go back and change? I would go back to when I was about 16 and stop being such a brat to my parents.
5. What are your top 5 life goals? Hmm.... in no particular order: visit Europe, get married, write a book, have children, get my masters degree.
6. What did you do last night? Read fanfictions then went to bed. haha
7. If you had a superpower, what would it be and how would you use it? I would like the power to force people to give me their undivided attention - it would come in very handy with my students sometimes when they are too chatty.
8. What is the one thing you are truly passionate about? This is tricky because I could give a serious answer or a not so serious answer. If I'm answering this question very seriously, I am very passionate about immigration and trying to make sure immigrants into the US are treated fairly and with respect. So many people here are so ignorant about what Hispanic immigrants go through JUST TO GET HERE in hopes of earning enough money to give their children better lives, and then they get here and we treat them like shit. It enrages me.
On a not-as-serious note, I am also very passionate about the shows I watch, the books I read, and my OTPs. Obviously. :)
9. Favourite movie? and why? So many! One of my all time favorites is She's the Man. It's such a cute feel-good movie and it makes me laugh. My sister and I have watched it together probably at least 50 times and it never gets old.
10. Any internet slang/termonology that has creeped into your verbal repertoire? I frequently use the terms "plot twist" and "spoiler alert" with my students. I also exaggerate a lot thanks to Tumblr.
11. You’re given a one-week all expense paid vacation. Where are you going to go and what are you going to do? Hm....maybe Vancouver so I can stalk Jensen Ackles and Stephen Amell. OR maybe LA so I can stalk Dylan O'Brien? So many choices. Actually, if this is all expense paid, I would probably want to go to Ecuador to meet the little girl I sponsor because she wrote me a letter saying she wants to meet me someday and it broke my heart because I doubt I'll ever have the money or the means to go to Quito and meet her.
