HEAD CURLED INTO THE RUN OF HIS FINGERS as they swept through her hair, eyes peering up at him as if somehow mesmerized by his presence alone once he stepped towards her. As finger came to rest under her chin, she obeyed the silent command and kept a steady gaze on him. There was only ever one thing she truly wanted ; one thing that always made her tormented world better. ❝ A massacre. ❞ She purred, lips spreading wide.

While she did love her suitors very much and it broke her heart terribly that she would have to break two of their hearts to accept one proposal. It was in that moment that Lucy Westenra had wished it was easier upon a woman’s heart, that she could love three men without the need of marriage, that a woman could love who she wished when she wished it. But such realities were not to be had in this world, she knew well. She’d have to break the hearts of two men...or maybe three now that she’d found herself thinking about the handsome stranger who’d so freshly arrived to English shores from a far off world.

Pulled from her thoughts, a softer smile painted her features as attention was placed back upon the features of the handsome stranger -- one that was far deadlier than she could ever know.
