Every single day I am tested. Do I do this job because I love it? No. This is my own personal torment nexus. You see that Melon guy? My detective buddy? They’re playing rhythm doctor. They have doodles all over their detective notes. I show up to court having zero sleep and fucking everything up. I get sentenced to exile for the 3rd time in a row. No yaoi. No anything. Just myself, my thoughts, and the constant timeloop torment looming over me. I have no contact to the outside world. The pirate ship? Can’t imagine it anymore. It’s only a faded memory. Then I get a messenger pigeon with a sketch attached. The sketch depicts the crop fields back at the ship. What was once bountiful wheat is now disturbed. Disturbed by a creature of some sort. This ghoul in my ask box. This ghoul. You are the ghoul.
