hi i wrote soft this morning rbs appreciated its super short and i wrote it in like 10 mins

"Aw, come on, kiddo - you can do better than that for your old man, can't ya? Sheesh...You sure you're related to me?" 

 "X-Xigbar, h-he's only -"

 "Yeah, yeah. I'm just teasin, Rixxy Sticks. Relax~!"

 Xigbar gave an amused grin at his partner's immediate attempt to defend their 12 month old son. The child was currently learning to walk, and well - when his son fell, Xigbar couldn't help but tease the toddler (whether said toddler even understood he was being teased or  not). Still - down on one knee, the eye-patched man outstretched his arms and encouraged the purple haired boy once more. 

 "Aight, Xane, no more kidding. Show papa what you can do."

 The child blinked at him several times. Seems he didn't fully understand, and instead seemed to get a little upset. Rix gave a small laugh now. "Oh, it's okay sweetie..." From behind, crouching down, they moved to lift their child gently to his feet, and his tiny hands clung to them. "It's  -It's okay. just do your best, okay? Par is here - here too..."

 Sniffling, Xane took a few steps forward with Rix's help. Then...He let go, and began waddling over to Xigbar.

 "That's it! That's it, kiddo!" Xigbar's eye widened a little, and reached his arms out. "That's it, keep goin'..." And as the child drew near, he began to fall a little - but was caught in Xigbar's hug. Lifting his son up, he laughed, and so did the child at this movement. "Haha! Knew you had it in you! See what you can do if you listen to your old man?"

 Rix giggled. "I-I helped too, you know..."

 "Of course you did, Rixxy." And with that, Rix would be kissed on the top of their head by their husband.

here he isssssssssssssssssss Xane! he’s the child of my selfship with xigbar <3 some fun facts include -

- he was born when Xigbar was still a villain, but was raised by Rix on the side of light and didn’t have ZERO contact w his dad he just didnt get to see him super regularly

- he’s really sweet and kinda like Sora in that “dumb but loving kid” way as a child/ teen, but mellows out and gets quiet as an adult.

- his ears caused some alarm when he was born being that pointy ears usually = darkness, but it was quickly realized that the ears were just inherited from Xigbar. nothing dark abt it just genetics babe

- although hes energetic, he’s also very likely to pass out at random times even if he had a full night of sleep.

- his ponytail just gets bigger with age

- i named him after the name my cat had when we first adopted him (but that was Zane. which i spelled Xane as Zane on this ref at first)

ok but i was talkin to S abt this but like. after Xane is born. sora, goofy, and donald run into xigbar and theres just. this terrible scene of sora and xigbar listening todonald, screaming i nhis donald duck terrible voice “he doesnt even pay child support????????? how can he call himself a father” 

followed by goofy “gawsh do you think he even has that type of money?”
