Meanwhile, in Baltimore, we plan for the Small Foods Party
So, while @byronicwoman is wielding the microphone at RDC3, Amy, Jenn, and Justin will be preaching the gospel of Hannibal at the 2017 Baltimore Small Foods Party at the American Visionary Arts Museum.
It’s an evening of miniature foods, and we’re using “Feeding Hannibal” to create the smallest of “pork” roasts and the most diminutive sanguinaccio dolces. There will also be an extravagant tablescape, and a touch of cosplay. Amy stopped at a life size Hannibal cut out. We are thinking of having music playing, and if we can find decent mini-wineglasses, relabeling bottles of wine with the Lecter Dvaras label.
The funny thing is, we don’t want to win the Grand Prize, because then you have to plan next year’s party and keep around a really large trophy made from an industrial sized can of corn until the next year.
We’ll probably task Justin with documenting the evening for you all. He already turned down the suggestion to be our Will*, so Amy has to make three waist aprons and not just two.
* Oh shit, maybe we should make wee dog treats to give out? Little snausages.
