Antagonists for my upcoming fantasy thing, the Demon Lords. In clockwise order:

Ronove, the swordsman.

Gomory, the dark mage.

Dantalion, the heavy knight.

Agares, the sage.

There's another guy, Forneus, but I haven't drawn him yet. I'm still deciding on color schemes for them all, I'm taking suggestions.

A bunch of people are talking about some kind of book series with necromancers in it, and it reminded me that I have a necromancer, so here he is.

He is extremely OP (it’s my world so I do what I want!), enjoys poetry and talking about magical theory, is Short, wears gloves 99% of the time, is part of a religious minority, and has the most backwater hick accent imaginable. Also I’ve had him since 2016 and it’s only this week that I’ve been able to draw his face right! Level up!!

Pet-Peeve/Fantasy-Rantasy:

. How come Mystery is the only genre that gets a Cozy subgenre? What the actual fuck is up with that? Who authorised this?

. I want Cozy but not just Mystery, I want as much as possible bc in this age of franchise-spanning epics and edgy grimdark bullshit, there’s simply not enough of it!

. Where’s my Cozy Romance? Cozy Fantasy-Adventure? Cozy Sci-fi? Cozy Horror? Cozy Spy-Thriller?

. I vote we make “Cozy” a genre of its own that can be intersected with other genres

TL;DR: I love the idea of the cozy-mystery subgenre, but I’m not that big a fan of the mystery genre, and so I’m whining about it bc I’ve got nowt better to do :)
