Fantasy Ochako Uraraka!

I made this costume over the course of about a month; I made everything from scratch, aside from the boots, tights, and belt. I honed a lot of skills that I’d picked up from working in the theater--how to make patterns from scratch, alterations, and even hair and makeup.

This is the fifth cosplay I’ve made, and I’m so proud of how far I’ve come. I love the sometimes slapdash cosplays I’ve done in the past, but I’m excited to begin doing more elaborate ones in the future. 

Special thanks to my mother, who was with me during every step of the process, from picking out the fabrics to taking these photos. I think every cosplayer needs someone in their life who tells them their costume looks great, especially when they’re focused on the imperfections, and my mother is that person. This cosplay would never have seen the light of day without her constant encouragement.

Ochako wig and Fantasy Hood/Glove commission!

The wig is made from an @ardawigs​ Inigo in Spanish Brown and the hood is a heavy wine crepe with cotton lining!
