I posted a sneak peek of these lovely ladies almost a month ago. I finished the piece on the 8th and never remembered to post it until just now. ^__^() I originally thought of these two as sisters, but others have assumed them to be lovers. What do you think? Does this drawing give you a vibe one way or another? Is this cave their home or their romantic getaway spot? Created using Copic brand markers and fineliners, of course. TL/DR: A couple super awesome video game streamers named characters after me in their streams and this is a sketch in progress of those two characters celebrating New Years together. ~~ This is some sketch work for a New Years themed piece I'm working on. I don't usually do holiday themed pieces, but I just really wanted to do this one... Because it represents a part of this past year that's been kind of special to me and that I look forward to continuing in the year to come. I've gotten into a small portion of the community over on Twitch, having started watching one really awesome video game streamer and then checking out another one who I met in her stream's chat. I was actually really surprised at how welcoming the group was and have had a lot of fun getting to know them and the others who frequent their streams. I could go on, but I don't want to get too weird or mushy. XD Soon after I started watching the lovely @littlemisslarkin streams, she started a fresh game of Legend of Grimrock 2 and named the human knight after my screen name there on Twitch! Maybe it's weird, but it felt awesome. And then, earlier this week, @fredgotgame started a new run of Dark Souls and named the character after my because I was one of the first couple people to say something in chat. So on the left in this sketch is Bardic Kitty a la Legend of Grimrock 2 and on the right is BardicKitty a la Dark Souls. The two of them have obviously had enough dungeon delving and monster slaying for now and are hitting the tavern to celebrate the possibilities that await us all in the new year! ((Also, ignore the extra arm in the mostly covered version of the sketch... I had to adjust her arm position to make them fit better.
