31 - Fave Fantasy Author
J. R. R. Tolkien without a doubt. I owe him and his writings a great debt of gratitude.

30 - Most Anticipated Fantasy
At the moment, I suspect it’s N. D. Wilson’s final installment in the Ashtown Burials series (The Silent Bells). Also there’s supposed to be a prequel to tie together 100 Cupboards and Ashtown Burials, so that’s exciting too.
I will be over the moon when Jennifer Freitag releases Talldogs and Drakeshelm, though that is a very long time in the future. ^_^
29 - Fantasy Read Repeatedly
Pretty much anything (except Gormenghast) mentioned in the previous answers I've read multiple times...
I’d say it’s a toss-up between The Hobbit and Silver Chair/Voyage of the Dawn Treader/The Horse and His Boy for fantasy-I’ve-read-the-most-times, though I know Two Towers outstrips the rest of The Lord of the Rings, just like Dandelion Fire and Lamplighter get more reads than the rest of their series’.
26 - Middle Grade Fantasy Fave
The Unicorn's Secret series by Kathleen Duey. Heart and Moonsilver's story is very sweet and the illustrations are top-notch
27 - Fave Fantasy Weapon
"Draw Drynwyn only thou of noble worth" - because a flaming sword of justice is both scary and a w e s o m e
Runner up is Mariel of Redwall's Gullwacker.
28 - Slowest Fantasy Read
Gormenghast by Mervyn Peake. I remember describing it at the time as being not unlike wading through a vat of candle wax
"Hinder me? Thou fool. No living man may hinder me!" Then Merry heard in all sounds of the hour the strangest. It seemed that Dernhelm laughed, and the clear voice was like the ring of steel. "But no living man am I! You are looking upon a woman. Eowyn am I, Eomund's daughter. You stand between me and my lord and kin. Begone, if you be not deathless! For living or dark undead, I will smite you, if you touch him." 25 - Fantasy Never Finished
A long time ago I started writing a story about a unicorn whose horn functioned as a musical instrument. There was an adorable bird sidekick and fallen stars and fairies riding to war on tigers. I've tried twice but still haven't found the key to making all the elements click.
24 - Fave Fantasy Romance
Morgon and Raederle from The Riddlemaster of Hed? Eugenidies and Attolia from the Attolia series? Eowyn and Faramir from the Lord of the Rings? Kate and Christopher from The Perilous Gard? Aurelius and Ulrica from Galleries of Stone?
I guess I'm so indecisive on this point because romance and fantasy seem to go hand in hand and I'm having a hard time thinking of a fantasy where there isn't a romance of some sort.
23 - Fave Childhood Fantasy
...a representative sampling includes A Little Princess by Francis Hodgson Burnett, the Chronicles of Narnia, The Hobbit, the Prydain Chronicles, The Crown and Jewel by Jerri Massi, Howard Pyle's Arthurian retellings, Tales of the Kingdom by David and Karen Maines, The King's Equal by Katherine Patterson...
Ooooh! Also, there is a collection of stories called something like, The Golden Story Book and illustrated by Felicitas Khun which has several fairy tale types that I have never seen anywhere else including one about a young man who was turned into a squirrel and learned how to cook in a witch's kitchen and went on to be an exceptionally ugly chef and the spell was only broken when he found a particular herb...
