Does the artwork have to be completed by April 17th? Or can it be a sort of progress check?
The first work has to be done, yes.
If you can't find anything good to draw within what you have at that point, then Artists should get in contact with me and we'll figure out something together with your author.
This should be noted by both artists and writers: If ever you find yourself unable to meet a check in because of exams or other acceptable circumstance (which admittedly our opinions of may be different) then please talk to us and we'll figure out a different deadline or something else to help.
