Fantei really does just put her ex through eternal suffering in the name of some fucked up love and devotion. Turning her into tools, taking pieces of her and hooking them into herself and her gyros. She's always with her, watching unwillingly, programmed to help.
An eye hidden behind dark glass, an organic visual sensor to improve the accuracy of her function gyro. An ear used to enhance the communications functions of a spy gyro. Vocal chords hidden deep within a sonic blast gyro. She can still see, she can still hear, but it's fragmented into different existences. She hears her voice scream out of context. She sees Fantei work on upkeeping her pieces residing in other machines. She can't hear but she can. She's blind but she can see it all. She's here observing in singular ways with one sense in each awareness, for as long as Fantei wants her to.
Fantei working pieces of her ex into all of her weapons and tools after killing her...every aspect of her being...
She shares her gaze with her girlfriend. Every step she takes is carried by her dearheart. Her gun has a now-petrified handle that holds her hand in return, like she once held hers. The gyro that hovers close to her at all times almost sounds like it's sobbing, behind the whirs and clanks.
She promised she would hold her close forever, she would never let go. She'll share the world with her lover, and she will keep that promise. Whether it's desired or not.
