So I know you don't really post LOTR/Hobbit stuff much anymore (that's totally cool, came for Tolkien, stayed cause you're a cool human being) but out of curiosity, do you think Tauriel would ever have any tattoos? A small one as like a personal secret or a big one as a fuck you I do what I want or none at all? <3 your blog :)

I could see Tauriel getting a few small tattoos. Things to solidify points in time and memories for her, to exist as a part of her physical form and not just in her mind.

Haven't seen the movie yet but was planning to. Should I subject myself to it?

Honestly dude, don’t even bother. They’ve turned it into a crappy highschool romance movie. Light is a total idiot. The chick Mia who I suppose is meant to be based off Misa has a completely different personality. It’s set in Seattle for some god damn reason. Ryuk plays little to no part in the movie apart from laughing whenever someone fucks up.

It’s pretty much a heaping pile of white washed garbage, apart from L, who’s black (the only thing I don’t hate about this movie tbh), but just like Light he’s nowhere near as intelligent as he should be and does a bunch of dumb bullshit and has a fucking chase scene in a cop car.

I still have half an hour to go so I’m guessing no part of the story after L died in the anime is included in this movie. It’s really bad.

As I’m typing this L is pointing a gun at Light. Why am I still watching god help me

OMFG. Uriel said the piece/peace is here. What if that's Chloe? What if God put her on earth not for Lucifer, but for humanity? What if God already had a plan for Chloe & didn't think Lucifer would leave hell? Lucifer was the only angel with free will he couldn't *fully* control/plan for so what if Charolette's wrong? Oh! Actually! A Thing! I Wanted! I wanted to get Sting on one arm, and Narsil/Anduril (I could never decide if I wanted it broken or reforged) on the other arm, as a pair. :D

1) Have you ever taken a plastic six-pack ring, cut it into a long strip, hung it up, then lit it on fire (with a bowl of water under it)? It has this really cool effect where as the fire slowly crawls up, it will fade to the point it almost burns out then it suddenly gets bright and burns quickly again. On top of that, as the plastic melts and falls into the water, it makes this really, really cool zzziiipp sound. I associate you with that.

I haven’t done that but it sounds awesome! I love the sound of putting hot things in water, it’s so satisfying. :)
