when dreamers meet each other in a dream, what do they look like? like what clothing, are they wearing jewelry or makeup, etc.?
that’s up to the writer to decide! in dreams like the dream of gold, you can opt for your muse to be wearing something fancier, but we’ve all had those dreams where we’re somewhere wearing something we shouldn’t be, so that could definitely happen too.

hi there! i can’t give you an exact date yet, but it happened about one and a half years ago (about 5-6 months before the collective was founded). i explained a little more in detail here!
sorry if i missed this! i know the dream collective has only been around for a year but when did the dreamers start having their dreams?
no worries! canonically, the collective isn’t actually sure when the dreams began. the most reliable “timestamp” they have is the night of the shooting star, since it’s the only common thread they’ve found between all dreamers, so they only know that that’s when the earliest dream could have occurred. not everyone had their first dreams right away though, so that’s why it’s an unfixed date.
but since the shooting star occurred about 2-3 months before the first dreamer’s post went viral, and then the collective was founded a few more months later, a dreamer could have been having dreams for about 1.5 years by now (if they’ve been having them since the night of the shooting star)!
i just want to make sure i understand things correctly, so dreamers can meet each other in dreams yes? does that mean they meet in the setting of the dream pattern?
that’s right! i’ve added this clarification to the glossary so it’s hopefully less confusing:
Shared Dreams are a specific setting (see each pattern's description). For example, the Dream of the Sea takes place on a beach as described. Usually a Dreamer would find themselves alone there, but during Shared Dreams, they may be able to meet other Dreamers of the Sea on that beach.
however, this question also gave me a few plot ideas, so look out for this ability possibly...expanding in the future. :-)
