@andystechgarage get to see the coolest things! Someday we hope to visit so Andy and Eva can give us a tour of some of these cool places!! I’m hoping for the NY Toy Fair!! - Posted @withrepost • @andystechgarage Not our first Quantum Levitation clip but by far the best with a little bonus slow motion action at the end. To make this work one needs soak the levitating object in liquid Nitrogen or cool it in a different fashion until the internal electromagnetic fields are either reduced or eliminated (temporarily). The superconductor will eventually stop levitating as the temperature goes back up. The magnetic track serves as the base for the process and all magnets on it must be oriented in the same direction for this to work. You will notice the two objects pass one another without any interference or effect and do not affect the height or speed. Wish we really understood this better.
