hey pals i made a personal blog @sc-runchie which is a mishmash of my interests & misc stuff
it’s not a blog for any fandom but if anybody wants to follow me or smth, idk, hmu there! or u can always hmu on my anikpoptwt for a chaotic mess ha ha
so the myths are, in fact, true. day6 are as sweet and handsome as the screens say, maybe a little better irl. it being my first concert, i wasn't sure what to expect, but i sure wasn't expecting that a concert could make everyone in the venue, including day6 themselves, happy. the local mydays here were absolutely hyped and we would jump at the chance to yell "DAY6" or "WE LOVE YOU" and we sang to all of their songs. seeing day6 proud of themselves, of us, as they performed on stage made every moment leading to the concert worth it.
anyway here's my favourite parts of day6 in moscow
- jae saying that moscow is like disneyland, but even better, and that he liked borscht a lot (other members: vigorous head nodding)
- jae going offstage to ask the translator how to say a local phrase
- BODY ROLLS. WONPIL AND SUNGJIN (and dowoon's!) BODY ROLLS.
- wonpil's cheekbones are carved by the gods. i could only see him from the screen from my place (sadly :/), but he's SO HANDSOME it transcends all expectations. the same goes for the other members, too! their visuals are so !!!!! that it took me like 5 minutes to process.
not only that, but wonpil manages a thin line btwn looking very Hot And Dangerous, and looking like an absolute bub. he's either glaring out into the crowd with a Dark Gaze or he's cutely bopping his head side-to-side. he's so adorable and i miss him so much and i hate how i couldn't see him face-to-face.
- dowoon is the ABSOLUTE CUTEST HUMAN BEING, periodt. when they're performing, he mouths along to the lyrics rly wide and it's so???? cute icb he's real. litcherally was thinking 'oh boy am i swerving tonight' as i watched him perform.

- sungjin!!!!! the loml!!!!!!!! his facial expressions were the funniest tbh, bc it changes so often during a song, but it's so endearing to see him express himself that way. within like, 30 seconds, he would go >:( to :o to :D to >:P to ^-^ and it was shufjsjd so cute uGh. his vocals are LEGENDARY btw. he doesn't improvise as much as the other members, BUT even the smallest change (like extending his notes in 나를 불러줘) can pull you off your feet. his singing is amazing and i'd listen to him sing irl every day if i could ;;
- youngk! an absolute KING of improvising! he's so expressive when he's performing (he throws his head back a lot) and the little glitters in his smiles made the entire 2-hour-waiting-in-the-freezing-cold queue worth it. he has a very strong stage presence tbh; though i couldn't see him well, he was in a world of his own and it's hard to look awayonce you see him. he's also the second hype man of the concert. (in russian, he would say "MAKE SOME NOIIIIISE" and the venue went crazy lol)
- jae, our first concert hype man, was very, very sweet and did most of the talking during the concert. he would say stuff like "you guys are amazing-- wait how do you say amazing--" (goes to translator to ask for the word) "--ah yes, (in russian) amazing!" and "moscow is like disneyland, except better" and "if you guys want, we can all come back here next year?" (mydays: AHHDKAHDJSJDHSJ YEEEEEEEEEESSSSS)
he also frequently went near to the fans (which was on my side of the venue!) and he was the first to hop off stage. thank you, jae, for reaching out and interacting with us and generally brightening the atmosphere. i miss you already :(
- jae and sungjin rly have a thing for doing a mini guitar face-off during their songs. it was adorable.
- during a short pause btwn a ment (?), dowoon played a jazzy rhythm on the drums and jae said "oh, dowoon's getting a little jazzy tonight"
- the local mydays actually wrote up an extra verse for 'letting go', which we planned to sing after the boys finished singing. except we were too caught up cheering at the end of the performance so no one did it....
- also, they made a banner for sungjin's birthday that said "happy birthday bob." during sungjin's ending ment, we all raised the banner and sungjin laughed, so he said "alright guys. let's sing it. 1, 2, 3" and we sang happy birthday to him!
- during hi touch, i managed to say "you did well" to all of the members and "happy birthday" to sungjin. they were all saying "spasiba" (thank you) to the fans and they were very warm as we high-fived each other.
it's now the next day and my throat hurts from yelling to all their songs, but it was a great experience and i'm so, so grateful to have the opportunity to see them last night. if you guys get the chance to go watch them perform, do it! listening to their vocals, watching them perform and enjoying each other's presence is worth it.
