Nah, we knew each other since childhood. After I delved into the fandom stuff, knowing he was a huge Tolkien nerd, I MADE him get a Tumblr. But he’s so super busy since his job is far more demanding than mine, AND our kids turn into actual monsters whenever they see him. I am convinced that if he cut back from his kids-time to do some internet stuff, they would EAT his computer.
