Three characters similar to mine! :: Eligos Venator

Dante: Devil May Cry

When not working Eligos rarely gives a damn, and is laid back and all about enjoying life. He can become serious if the situation calls for it, but he lives in the moment and makes the most of his situations rather than stressing about any momentary setbacks. His personality when not working is very, very similar to Dante from Devil May Cry, being similarly laid-back as well as fun-loving, without thinking too far ahead beyond how he will get what he wants at that moment. Life’s a game to him, and to stress out about it constantly leads to a life hardly worth living. He is similarly overconfident as well, seeing others as sources of amusement and focusing on the entertainment value he gets out of a situation rather than seeing the danger he might be in.

Tony Stark/Iron Man: Marvel

Inspiration for Eligos’s armors as well as his technology is heavily drawn from Tony Stark and his Iron Man armors, and Eligos shares numerous personality traits with him, from the inflated ego focused on himself to his aptitude for taking apart technology and adjusting it to suit his own needs. He has a very similar ‘what is in it for me’ attitude that Tony Stark had at the start of his career, and only ever acts out of self-interest. Similar to Tony Stark, he tries to constantly improve and adjust his armors rather than ever being satisfied, and re-outfits them as need be for jobs if he’s given enough information on the job ahead of time.

Doomslayer: Doom Eternal

Eligos is far more chatty than the Doomslayer will ever be, and is never driven by emotion when he makes any sort of decision, instead analyzing the situation and choosing what he believes will benefit himself the most. But once he is in his armor, they’re rather similar in their methods of handling situations and how quiet they are. Eligos has zero morals to keep him in check, and he will opt for the most effective method of taking down a target, which often results in a level of brutality similar to the Doomslayer. Anything goes, from poison to using the armor’s enhanced strength and claws to physically tear apart those that stand between him and his goals. Eligos does not care for banter or who is right or wrong when on the job. He has a mission, and those that get between him and completing it are simply collateral damage.

Loki, Wei Wuxian, Xue Yang

I feel bad describing these fellas as “three murder boys” but sorry Wei Wuxian you did kinda kill a lot of people at a few points. like, it was kind of fair of you in at least two of those instances, as far as I’m concerned, and to some degree in the third one?? but like. there were a lot of people dead at the end of it.

Three Characters

1. Guts

Guts - The Black Swordsman, The Strugler, a man marred by conflict and tragedy very early on in his life. Growing up knowing little else besides fighting he’s found it hard to feel like he belong anywhere. Couple that with loads of trauma makes it all that much harder for the merc to trust let alone open up to others. Not to mention that latter on all that gets considerably worse for the guy, but despite the near constant conflict in his life the guy is damn tenacious and doesnt give up easily. Though admittedly the guy needs some talking to to remember theres are more important things in life than revenge. Should also mention that it takes a while before the guy gets comfortable enough to joke around with others.

2. Kiritsugu Emiya

Of the three characters here, Kiritusgu and Synn have a childhood that is the most alike. Put simply the two desired to be “Heroes of Justice.” Only to have circumstances cause both to be disillisioned with the very idea. That said it is still is a dear wish even if its been buried by reality. Also because of their experiances the two have grown to disdain the very concept of honor or glory in battle. All that said both of them still desire to help people, though their primary methods in doing just that are strictly murder.

3. Raiden

Well... here’s Raiden aka Jack the Ripper. Like the other two he’s a man who’s suffered a great deal at a young age. I suppose its no longer a secret on the types of characters I like but anyway... Jack was once a child soldier and as a result he’s developed a darker side as shown above. Though he’s only really let it out in a fight against those he deems deserving of a swift end. Such as people trying to make more people like him as one example. All in all these three usually try to do whats right when they can despite how messy it can be at times.

Falstaff, Iago and Beatrice

• get randomly assigned as your lab partner for a whole semester: beatrice. i feel like this would probably go pretty well, and we might even have fun.

• get trapped with on a broken elevator for ten hours: iago. i don’t want to pick him for any of these, and while this is a terrible idea, it is the shortest time period, and presumably we both want to get out alive, and i won’t have to associate with him afterwards.

• get as my employee trainer for my new job at McDonalds: falstaff. and i feel like this is verging on some kind of weird modern au.
