went to see Horrors with bestie tonight. very very fun. even got into the mosh for S2RMB then went to Wax gave Faris and Rice a big kiss each then just stood about talking shite for like 2 hours. Rhys called me 'baby' aloud when i said bye to him which was cute he is sweet. also formally introduced myself to Josh Replacement because there is one part of Josh's legacy he absolutely does not need to carry on with
years ago (3 of them) (wack) i went doon to London to see the big man DJ (at a party / Shadracks gig where the other bands on the lineup were called Body Horror and Bloke) and somehow timed my arrival at the venue perfectly so that i got there at the same time as him & his then gf so we were having a chat outside and i do not remember the exact line of conversation leading up to this quote but at one point he was like (to Sinead) 'wait, i thought we agreed that i was Body Horror and Rhys was Bloke' ... love that 'which thing from this lineup corresponds to what member of The Horrors' is apparently a philosophical question that is even being asked by members of The Horrors

was going to put this in the "funniest" bracket but it really deserves its own post: after the Manchester gig was finished i was in the venue bathroom washing my hands when i noticed a fella hovering outside the doorframe / peering inside (there was no door) (the toilets were NOT gender neutral) so naturally thought it was some weirdo but then actually turned my head to look properly and it was Faris of all people ... truly not beating the stalker allegations. like on one hand i am glad he has the same 'i like to walk around, i like to stare' Colin Robinson type of autism that i do because it negates a lot of my brainworms but on the other hand ... bro???
