I also worked on cleaning up the future goat yard today. Hauled two wheel barrow loads of trash out of there, which is all I can fit in the trash can. Until the ground dries out enough to get the truck back there, I'll do it a bit at a time. The big stuff (lots of busted old fencing, long broken pipes, rotting lumber) can wait until we do a dump run with the pickup.
I also started a brush pile, just clearing the junk out to open the area up. There's plenty more of that to do, but the next hurdle is I need to take down a lot of the spindly, close-set trees in there, and the best tool for that job is the chain saw. I am afraid of the chain saw.
