Alright I'm on like episode 10 of Flame's pov of Unstable (yes I'm watching by pov no one was there to tell me otherwise) which is like the farm war one and wanna get my thoughts out so rambling under the cut

Aight so genuinely, the part where Lomedy gets mad at Flame for his farm being destroyed was actually such a great moment, and it made Flame's arc so much clearer for me

During this whole "war" he was always trying to prove to others he was the best and whining about not being able to do things the most efficient way and getting caught up in the beef with Spongs, which is why he did not in fact get what being a farmer was about

I don't think Lomedy ever actually wanted to grind his ass off and climb the farmer hierarchy, he was just in it to have fun, and Flame completely overlooked that part, which ALSO caused him to hurt Lomedy in the process

So that's why when Flame asks Lomedy to just "farm with him one last time" I thought it was one of the sweetest moments in the series, because it showed how Flame acknowledge that even though he thought it was the best path to take, his actions hurt is friend, so he tried to do it again the proper way now, the way Lomedy intended, so they could just enjoy themselves this time

Which I think reflects a lot on Flame as a character, because literally the same thing happened with Jaden: Flame wanted to do things his way completely overlooking his teammates and when they didn't go along with it he just said "fuck all you guys I quit", which makes this moment all the nicer showing that he's capable of being a good friend ^^

So. All that being said. Tell me WHY. LITERALLY right after that happens. Lomedy just goes "oh yea whatever let's go bomb Spongs's farm now!!" LIKE WHAT???? When they were there Flame literally broke the farmer's code as well pulling out a sword and killing some guys!!! And they just sat there laughing at their enemy's base being blown up after that beautiful moment about taking it easy and not seeking vengeance all the time!!!

Like actually that moment was soooo good for Flame with how he was showing signs of growth and growing past his flaws and it got thrown out the window for no reason at all!!!!! What the fuck was that all about WHY WOULD LOMEDY EVEN CHANGE THIS MIND ABOUT THIS LITERALLY IN THE LAST 10 MINUTES COMPLETELY UMPROMPTED??????

Like actually when Lomedy started yapping about "thank you Flame!!! Now that Spongs has stopped griefing my base I can actually become the best farmer you are such a good friend!!! Here's your horse!!!!" I actually started thinking this was all Flame's dream and he was about to wake up last minute cause what 😭🙏
