A love story of sorts. Farmers, Zaid and Haifa Kurdieh, from Norwich Meadows Farm and chef Dave Gould of Roman’s have cultivated a close relationship for upwards of eight years that goes beyond vegetables. Dining for the final time with Dave at the helm before he embarks on a new chapter including some well deserved rest. It’s beautiful to witness over the years such a relationship between farmers and a chef. A true loss for the NYC restaurant scene. But I’m confident this is not the last time he will serve their vegetables nor I hope the last time I have the fortune of eating his food. @norwichmeadowsfarm @romansnyc #farmerandchef (at Romans)
