Back from her venture to help Balto continue his journey to find the medicine, Jenna was more determined than ever to make sure Balto would come back, with the artificial “northern lights” she made. Steele lied about Balto being dead, right the moment when he said that Balto told him to “take care of her”. Steele hated not being the center of attention and had a bone to pick with Balto since day one.
While the storm died down a little from before, Jenna could still feel the chilly air run through her fur and down her spine. Sitting at the front porch of the hospital, amber eyes gazed out on the horizon, tirelessly watching for any sight of a sled team. While focused, she didn’t recognize any movements of other creatures that might be nearby, that is...until she caught the scent of something unfamiliar.
