I usually neither post selfies nor pictures of the cows I work with on here, but I’ll make an exception to celebrate...here are some selfie attempts with Cow Number 13.  (Cow 13 actually has a name, but I rather refer to her as “The Thirteen” because I loved that she’s almost entirely black and carries the number 13 on her collar).

I hope I’ll be able to visit her now and then as well as the amazing, kind family she belongs to.

Tomorrow, the husband and I are going to dinner with a group of other beginning farmers. It's a meeting to follow up with those that attended the beginning farmer class held this past fall. So exciting! I hate socializing, but I have my husband with me and he can do the talking for two people.
